REVIEW: Weekend
of October 31st-November 1st
96 AAA lost a close battle to the undefeated Boston Little Ranger.
The team started out slow in the first period and went down 3-0.
In the second the Terriers played better position while both teams
were very physical. Early in the third the Terriers had a number
of great scoring opportunities but we were still unable to get on
the board. With just 2:49 left in the third the Terriers put on
surge and got on the board when Dave Ferrara broke down the left
wing and ripped a shot high blocker side which found the back of
the net. Just 20 seconds later Shawn Kane punched in another goal
while on the 5-3. The Rangers found the open net for a final score
of 4-2. This Team continues to show a lot of heart and they never
give up. In the locker room after the game the boys were already
talking strategy for their rematch next week against the Rangers.
REVIEW: Weekend
of October 9th-11th
Our boys are on a roll with another strong outing topping Team Dynamic
3-1 on Saturday. That is four in a row for our players in the Red
and White.
REVIEW: Weekend
of October 2nd-4th
The 96 AAA team got four points from Shawn Kane in a 4-2 victory
over the Minutemen Flames at the Plex on Saturday. The boys said
they were motivated by "the standing room only crowd and the
newly formed DOG Pound."
REVIEW: Weekend
of September 25th-27th
The ever improving 96 squad beat the Providence Blues on Saturday
and lost a tight one goal game on Sunday to Top Gun to take two
points this weekend. The 96 team, a punching bag last season for
the league is now a team that can't be taken lightly and boast a
winning record.
