REVIEW: Weekend
of October 31st-November 1st
The 99 Terriers split the weekend with a win over the Eagles and
a loss to Top Gun. The Terriers lost to Top Gun 4-1 and the lone
goal came from Christian Brinkley.
The 99 team went on a scoring spree against the Eagles; lead by
Patrick Murphy, Jack Nesbit,Christian Hayes, Austin Marini all with
2 goals each. Jimmy Sullivan and Christian Brinkley each tallied
1 goal to end the scoring. The Terriers have there work cut out
for them next week as they have the SS Kings and the Flames.
REVIEW: Weekend
of October 24th-25th
The 99 terriers came away with a sweep this weekend and four hard
fought points. Saturdays big win against the Eagles was lead by
Christian Hayes who had the hat trick .Christian Brickley and Jack
Nesbitt had two goals a piece while Evan Googins and Shane Connolly
also talied.
The terriers then won a barn burner against a fierce Top Gun team.
Evan Googins lead the squad with two goals and Christian Hayes,Jack
Nesbitt and Shane Connoly help out with one each. Jimmy Scannell
backboned another great weekend in the pipes.
Terriers go on to face the same two teams next weekend. They can
exspect more of the same, these dogs have bite.
REVIEW: Weekend
of October 9th-11th
The 99 Elite team is on quite a roll in the early season. The bus
kept rolling this weekend with a 5-3 win over the Bay State Breakers
on Saturday and a 5-4 win over the South Shore Kings on Sunday.
In an after the game interview on TSN coach Hayes stayed as humble
as ever "Gosh I'm a really really good coach."
REVIEW: Weekend
of October 2nd-4th
After getting beat soundly on Saturday the 99 Elite team responded
like a championship team by crushing the Boston Jr. Eagles on Sunday
by the score of 9-1. Ever humble coach Hayes "Saturday was
Coach Nagle fault Sunday was all me".
REVIEW: Weekend
of September 25th-27th
The 99 Elite squad traveled to Bridgewater on Sunday and scored
a 3-2 victory over the Bandits. Coach Hayes had this to say after
the game "I don't know what was more sloppy the way we played
today or the round of golf I played yesterday but a win is a win"
The Terriers kept pace with the rest of the division and are tied
for first place.
REVIEW: Weekend
of September 18th-20th
After being down 4-1 the Terriers clawed and fought their way back
to a 5-5 tie with Westchester. Coach Adam Hayes had this to say
"We came out and played very poor early as you could see but
the kids showed a lot of character coming back to take the point."
